The North Syracuse Fire Department is a 100% Volunteer organization that provides fire protection to the Village of North Syracuse, Town of Cicero, and the Town of Clay in Onondaga County, State of New York. Members of the North Syracuse Fire Department live or work in our community.
The North Syracuse Fire District is comprised of fifteen square miles and provides protection and rescue services to 25,000 residents. We also provides service to several major interstate highways, fourteen schools and daycare centers, a large medical complex, several senior and assisted living facilities, commercial businesses and industrial facilities.
Since its inception in 1913, the North Syracuse Fire Department has been known as a distinguished and progressive organization. We have celebrated many accomplishments that were achieved through the hard work and dedication of our membership. North Syracuse Firefighters take pride in our mission and have helped others with professional persistence, overwhelming dedication, and extreme bravery for over 100 years.
